Integrate the various aspects of your being through Dance and Movement therapy.This therapeutic type of movement supports development of self, nonverbal cues, and personal boundaries, while promoting interaction, collaboration and active feedback. 

Dance and Movement Therapy is  for people of all ages and can be easily adapted to meet individual needs and goals.There is no requirement for athletic or dancing ability! This therapeutic process encourages movement that meets each person where they are at physically and emotionally. The most important aspect is your willingness and openness to the creative process.

Sessions may include a variety of techniques, as adapting to the moment is the priority. Movement patterns, such as style, tempo, direction, and shape are used to evoke emotions and moods. Connection, trust, and cooperation are fostered through  synchronization of movement. Variation creates opportunities to bring abstract concepts to life in each session. 

A typical session structure includes: 

  1. A verbal check in
  2. Body warm up
  3. Main movement
  4. Cool down
  5. End of session processing around what was experienced or felt through movement intervention(s). 

Dance and movement therapy uses the same fee structure as individual therapy.
