Help your child express what is troubling them through supportive, engaging interactions. Like adults, children struggle with emotions, behaviors, and experiences that can make life challenging for themselves and those around them. When children experience emotional challenges, feelings are expressed through difficult behaviors, withdrawing, or shutting down.

By working with the entire family system, our play therapists explore the root cause of challenging behaviors and dysregulation. This therapeutic approach supports your child in reaching their optimal level of functioning. Through their experience of feeling accepted, understood, and safe in play that supports resolution of underlying distress and emotions, we help your child and family system to feel regulated, safe, and connected.

Play Therapy models include:

  • Experiential Play Therapy
  • Child-Parent Psychotherapy
  • Sand tray therapy
  • Directive and non-directive play

Children and their caregivers work with our play therapists to create an individualized plan. Play therapy uses the same fee structure as individual therapy.
