Jordan is a licensed graduate social worker and psychotherapist who believes that healing begins with being seen—gently, honestly, and without judgment. She works with people navigating a wide range of challenges, including mood disorders, impulse control difficulties, interpersonal concerns, and patterns of avoidance or addictive behavior. Jordan has a special interest in supporting those who have felt pressure to conform—whether in identity, relationships, or other ways of being—including LGBTQ+ clients and people in nontraditional relationships. Her work often centers on helping clients shift unhelpful patterns, clarify goals, move through obstacles, and develop a more compassionate and validating inner voice.
Drawing from dialectical behavior therapy, narrative exposure therapy, CBT, poetry therapy, and relational approaches, Jordan’s style is collaborative and intuitive. Whether someone is just beginning therapy or returning to deepen their growth, she meets them where they are—with curiosity, care, and a belief in their capacity for meaningful change.
Jordan begins her days in quiet reverence—coffee steaming, music drifting, the sun rising as she reads or writes. She spends her time drawing, spinning yarn like an old-world grandma, and coaxing life from the soil in her garden (with mixed results). She’s happiest when curiosity leads the way—onto a train bound for somewhere new, while experimenting in the kitchen, or deep into the storytelling chaos of a tabletop roleplaying game. Her life is joyfully shared with two opinionated dogs, Haven and Catalina, who supervise her every move and demand regular snack breaks
